2 New Private Universities Approved By Federal Government – See The Names

We are impressed for having receiving this news today,because it helps our students gain admission easily into the higher institution,its a very nice improvement.

The Federal Government of Nigeria during
the weekly Executive Council Meeting held
today (Wednesday) approved the
establishment of two more private
universities in the country.

Names Of Two Approved Private Universities By FG:
The new universities are Edwin Clark
University in Kiagnodo, Delta State and
Hezekiah University in Umudi, Imo State.
According to the Minister of Information,
Senator Patricia Akwashiki, the
establishment of the universities was aimed
at meeting the high demand for admissions
into tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

FG disclosed that officials of the National
Universities Commission (NUC) were in
attendance to brief the Council on the need
for the two universities.

However, It will be recalled that the Federal
Government approved nine private
universities in February.

Total Number Of Private Awarding Degree Approved Universities In the Country
This new development has taken the
number of private degree awarding
institutions in the country to sixty one (61).
