The table below should be clear for you to comprehend. It's a designation table for the scores, grade points and grades used by most schools. Others might differ but never in calculation.

Total score(100%) |
Grade |
Grade Point(GP) |

100 - 70 | A | 5.00 |

69 - 60 | B | 4.00 |

59 - 50 | C | 3.00 |

49 - 45 | D | 2.00 |

44 - 0 | F | 0.00 |

- The F (Fail) grade must be bewteen 0 and 39.
- E for your school must be between 40 and 44 out of a total of 100 marks.
- D is graded as scores from 45 to 49.
- C is any score bewteen 50 and 59
- B is a score from 60 to 69, and finally,
- A is any score from 70 to 100 marks.

We had to clarify this because we understand that some schools use grading systems that further break down each division. For example, some schools not only have the A grade, but also the AB or BA grade if you score, say 65. This means that they multiply the unit by 4.5 instead of 4.

If this is the system your university, polytechnic or college adopts, this CGPA calculator will not work for you. Thank you for using this GPA tool. Please don't forget to share it.
