Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the four (4) JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Estate Management under the Faculty of Engineering, Environment & Technology in the above institutions include;

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) ABSU requires Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from Chemistry, Geography , Agric Science and Biology.

(ii) OAU accepts any three of the following subjects: Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

(iii) UNILAGOS one (1) of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Accounting as the fourth subject.

(iv) ANSU requires Biology, Chemistry.

(v) BAUCHI accepts for Environmental Management Technology Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry.

(vi) BAUCHI accepts for Estate Management Mathematics, One Science subject and either Geography or Economics

(vii) FUTA requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subject from Geography, Chemistry, Agricultural Science/Biology, Commerce, Government and Technical Drawing.

(viii) COVENANT requires English Language, Mathematics, Economics, one Science Subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and one social Science Subject.

(ix) BELLS requires either Chemistry, Geography or Physics as one other subject

(x) UNIZIK requires either of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science , Geography or Fine Arts as the third subject.

(xi) RSUST requires Mathematics, Physics and any other subjects from Chemistry, Geography and Fine Arts.

(xii) CRESCENT requires Mathematics, Economics and one other Science subject.

O’level Requirements

The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Estate Management;

You require;
Five SSCE credit passes including Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) FUTA requires five credits in WASSCE or NECO or GCE (O/ L) or equivalent at NOT more than two sittings. The credits should be in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two others from Geography, Chemistry, Agricultural Science / Biology, Commerce, Government, Fine Arts and Technical Drawing. Candidate is expected to have at least a pass in Physics.

(ii) OAU and ABSU accept Economics and any one of Geography, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

(iii) IMSU requires five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Geography and one other from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Government and Technical Drawing.

(iv) UNIZIK requires credit pass in Economics.

(v) UNILAG requires Five O/L credits in Economics and any of Geography, Physics, Agric Science, Chemistry, Biology and Tech. Drawing/Fine Art.

(vi) FUTMINNA requires O/L credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry or Physics and any one (1) of Biology, Geography and Accounting.

(vii) RSUST requires five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language and Mathematics and any two (2) subjects from Geography, Technical Drawing, Further Mathematics (Additional Mathematics), Fine Arts, Chemistry.

(viii) BAUCHI requires for Environmental Management Technology five ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Geography.

(ix) BAUCHI requires for Estate Management 5 O’ Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, plus 2 Science Subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agric Science and a Credit in either Economics or Geography.

(x) UNIUYO does not require a credit pass in Chemistry for Estate Management. Require Credit pass in Economics.

(xi) ANSU requires at least a pass in English Language.

(xii) CRUTECH requires Geography and Economics

(xiii) ESUTECH requires five credit in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any from Physics, Surveying, Building Construction, Geography, Biology, Technical Drawing and Fine Arts

(xiv) CRESCENT requires five O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any two of Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Government, Biology, Social Studies and Technical Drawing.

(xv) JABU requires five credit passes English Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and any one of the following Geography, Fine Art, Woodwork, Technical Drawing, Biology or Economics plus ND at Upper Credit level.

(xvi) COVENANT requires credit passes to include Economics, one Science subjects and one of Geography or Technical Drawing

(xvii) UNIOSUN requires Five ‘O’ Level credits in SSCE including Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics & Geography.

(xviii) UNN requires Credit level pass in 5 subjects in not more than two sittings in Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any other two subjects of which, one must be a science subject.

(xix) RENAISSANCE requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography, Economics and Biology at not more than two sittings.

(xx) BELLS requires Five SSCE Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two from Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography, and Technical Drawing.

(xxi) ABSU requires five SSCE credit passes in English Language Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Technical Drawing.

(xxii) CRESCENT requires five credits in SSCE/GCE/NECO including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies/Commerce, Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science and Technical Drawing.

(xxiii) UNIJOS requires five credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Geography, Book-Keeping or Financial Accounting, Fine Arts, Technical Drawing, Surveying and Building Construction.

Direct Entry Requirements

These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Estate Management, if you don’t intend to use UTME.

You require;
Two A/L passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology and Physics

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(i) BAUCHI (for Estate Management) accepts Lower Credit in National Diploma (ND) in Estate Management from a recognized polytechnic. The candidate must also have the 5 O’ Level requirements in English Language, Mathematics, two science subjects and a credit in Economics or Geography.

(ii) FUTMINNA accepts ND/HND lower credit in relevant course into 200 and 300 level respectively in addition to UTME requirement. Requires A’ level credit pass in Mathematics and Economics or Geography plus five O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any of Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Technical Drawing.

(iii) FUTA accepts ND in Estate Management or any field relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at least Upper Credit, plus ‘O’ level requirements or any other equivalent qualification or Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Economics and at least, any one of Mathematics, Geography, Biology or Chemistry; in addition to the ‘O’ level requirements.

(iv) OAU requires ‘A’ level passes to include Mathematics, Economics, and any other from Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Fine Arts, Tech. Drawing, Building and Surveying.

(v) ESUTECH accepts ND/HND in Estate Management.

(vi) RSUST accepts ND/HND (upper credit) in related field into 200/300 levels respectively plus UTME requirements. Candidates who possess an ND (lower credit or a pass with cognate experience) may be considered into 200 level.

(vii) IMSU – accepts HND in Estate Management.

(viii) UYO accepts ND (Upper credit) and HND (Lower credit) in relevant fields.

(ix) BAUCHI for Environmental Management Technology:
(a) Two ‘A’ level passes in English Language or Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology Geography/Biology or Agric Science.
(b) ND/HND (upper credit) in the Sciences or any relevant fields.

(x) CRESCENT accepts
(i) HSC/GCE ‘A’ Level, IJMB in relevant subjects and at acceptable grades.
(ii) ND or HND in Estate Management or Allied professions or professional certificate may be assessed and placed appropriately.

(xi) UNIUYO accepts ND/HND in relevant fields plus UTME requirement.

(xii) JABU accepts two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Economics, Geography, Biology and Chemistry. ND in Estate Management or field relevant to Environmental Planning, Design and Management with at least Upper credit.

(xiii) UNIOSUN accepts Two good passes at ‘A’ level in Mathematics, Economics, Geography and Chemistry; ND/HND in Estate Management and/or fields relevant to environmental planning, design and management with at least upper credit score.

(xiv) BELLS accepts
(a) Two A’ Level passes from Mathematics, Economics, Geography/Physics/ Chemistry.
(b) ND/HND (Upper Credit) Estate Management.

(xv) CARITAS – No Direct Entry.

(xvi) UNIJOS accepts:
(a) Holders of IJMB, Higher School Certificate (HSC) or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level in two relevant subjects or National Diploma (ND) with at least credit level passes in Estate Management or very closely related disciplines or Professional Certificate who applied through JAMB could be admitted into Year II of the programme, provided that they satisfy the relevant ‘O’ level credits requirement specified above.
(b) Holders of degrees in related disciplines or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management may also be considered for Direct Entry admission, provided they satisfy the ‘O’ level credits requirement.

(xvii) UNILAGOS accepts;
(a) Very good passes in JUPEB/A-LEVEL subjects: Mathematics, Economics and any one of Physics, Chemistry, or Geography.
(b) ND (Distinction) requirement in Estate Management into 200 level.
(c) Candidates must satisfy O/Level requirements
