How to check your chosen institution and course statistics

Many JAMB Candidates who wrote the 2020 UTME have been asking us for JAMB Statistics for this year.

The JAMB UTME Statistics provides vital information that could help candidates strategically select schools or courses with lower application of candidates, thereby giving them a greater opportunity of gaining admission.

Some other JAMB statistical data gave the number of candidates who scored a benchmark score (150, 180 or 200 and above) and also applied in specific schools or courses.

Unfortunately, this data is no longer available this year. The JAMB UTME Statistical Data was removed after JAMB redesigned and reorganized its website portal.

We’re hoping this data will be made available by JAMB after the cut-offs are released, to help candidates better prepare for admission screening.

We will continue to monitor the portal and other relevant official information channels, and we will bring this to you whenever it is made available.

They have been broken down into first, second and third choices. You should note that a low number in front of a course does not mean the course is not competitive. There is a capacity that cannot be exceeded for each course.

The steps to follow are quite simple. I must tell you that I have not tried this out on mobile phones, so I cannot guarantee that it will work. Tablets and Smartphones should generally work. Here is how to do it;

  • Go to the JAMB Postregfacility by clicking here
  • On the page, go to the right hand side, below the Re-print your slip section
  • Here you will see a text “You can also >”. Place your cursor on the pointer and some options like in the screenshot below will come out
  • Now click on the “Course statistics for selected institutions” option

If you have issues with checking, simply post it in the comment below and an Admin or Student will try to attend to your issue. That’s ngschoolz Community for You
