This is to inform all the newly admitted students of the the Lagos State University (LASU) that the ADMISSIONS OFFICE of the university has released the screening exercise timetable and requirements for the 2015/2016 academic session.

LASU Freshers Screening Details.

Screening of the FIRST SET of prospective candidates will take place in two parts as follows:

  1. Candidates who are not of Lagos State origin (December 16 to 18, 2015)
  2. Candidates of Lagos State origin (December 21 to 23, 2015)

The second screening exercise will take place early in January 2016

The Admission Screening Committee is expected to verify the correctness of all credentials such as WAEC/NECO/GCE/NCE/Diploma/A’Level/NABTEB certificates, birth certificates, Passport photographs, etc presented by the prospective students for the purpose of admissions into the Lagos State University.

Requirements for the Central Screening

Prospective candidates should bring the following documents for the screening exercise:

  1. Original and Four (4) copies of WAEC/NECO/GCE/NCE/Diploma/A’Level/NABTEB certificates
  2. New Scratch card to verify WAEC/NECO/GCE results online (2 scratch cards where 2 results are used for the admission).

*Note that ONLY ONE (1) SITTING is allowed for programmes in the College of Medicine

  1. Original and Four (4) copies of birth certificate
  2. Original and Four (4) copies of JAMB admission letter
  3. Original and Four (4) copies of JAMB results
  4. Original and Four (4) copies of IIVC Certificate for Lagos indigenes only
  5. Original and Four (4) copies of a Letter of Undertaking
  6. Original and Four (4) copies evidence of payment of Acceptance/other fees

A customized Admission Screening Form will be given to each prospective student at the Screening venue.
