How To Calculate UI Post UTME Aggregate Score

WHAT IS AGGREGATE SCORE 

That means the candidate must get at least 50 Questions Correctly. The aggregate score will be used to determine the cut-off point for admission into each of the programmes. Cut-off points for each course will be determined by the performance of all the candidates who applied for the course.

The Senate of University of Ibadan has approved the modalities for 2021/2022 admission into the institution and it is stated as below:

UTME ==> 50%

Post UTME ==> 50%

For UTME/JAMB Score:

Divide your JAMB/UTME Score By 8

For Post UTME Score:

Divide your post UTME Score by 2

For Example: 

UI Candididate’s AGGREGATE Score!

Your score in the post-UTME Screening is:  67

Your JAMB score is:  278

Your AGGREGATE score is: (JAMB score/8) + (post-UTME score) / 2 = (278 / 8)+(67) / 2   =   68.25

THERE IS NO CUT OFF MARK YET. DO NOT BE DECEIVED!

NB: The Candidate must not score below 50% in Post UTME to stand a chance. That means the candidate must get at least 50 Questions Correctly.

CRITICAL NOTES

  • The aggregate score will be used to determine the cut-off point for admission into each of the programmes.
