Umaru Musa Yaradua University,UMYU Gets New Vice Chancellor
This is to announce to the general public that The Katsina State Government has
approved the appointment of Professor
Idris Isa Funtua as the new vice chancellor
of Umaru Musa Yaradua University (UMYU).
Funtua will replace Prof. Mu’uta Ibrahim,
whose tenure had expired.
The new VC, a former deputy vice
chancellor at the Ahamdu Bello University
(ABU) Zaria, emerged victorious after a
screening exercise with 12 other professors.
His tenure will run for five years.
