The University of Adelaide is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students for their University of Adelaide Research Scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About the Scholarship
This CSIRO–the University of Adelaide jointly funded PhD opportunity has been established to support a full-time PhD student who is looking to commence research in the applied fields of physics, geology or chemistry. This project includes a 3-month CSIRO internship.
Aim and Benefits of the Scholarship
Successful applicants for the University of Adelaide Research CSIRO Supplementary Scholarship will receive the following benefits:
The Scholarship–$28,854/pa (2022 rate, indexed annually).
CSIRO Supplementary Scholarship–$5,000/pa + additional operating funds.
Requirements for the Scholarship
To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
1. Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia or international students
2. Be acceptable as a candidate for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.
3. Hold Australian First Class Honours or equivalent
4. Be able to commence study in Semester 2, 2022

4. Evidence of English language proficiency.
