UNN Shut Down, Students Ordered Out of Campus Hostels in 24 hours

The ongoing students protest at the University
of Nigeria, Enugu campus (UNEC)
as reported earlier today. Well, it appears the UNN VC has made
good his threat of shutting down the
institution as a public notice was circulated
this afternoon instructing the students to
vacate the school campuses within 24
hours in the name of a 2-week mid
semester break that has never been heard
of the university historically.

Consequently, all academic activities on the
campuses are hereby suspended for the
period.

Students are by this notice directed to
vacate their hostels within the next 24
HOURS, ie not later than 6pm on TUESDAY,
JUNE 02, 2015.
