Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU) Post UTME Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU), Ibru Village, Agbarha-Otor, under-listed degree programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

MCIU Courses and Admission Requirments.

FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Accounting

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any other Social Science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two credits at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Accounting and Economics or Business Management including OND (passed with minimum average of upper credit) in relevant courses from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are Economics, English, Mathematics and any other subject.

Banking and Finance

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any other Social Science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Accounting and Economics or Business Management including ordinary National Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are Economics, English, Mathematics and any other subject.

Business Administration

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any other Social Science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Accounting and Economics or Business Management including ordinary National Diploma in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are Economics, English, Mathematics and any other subject.

FACULTY OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES

Biochemistry

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology,chemistry and any other science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Biology and Chemistry including ordinary National Diploma in Biology/Zoology (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS:   UME subjects are English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Biology

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology,chemistry and any other science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Biology and Chemistry including ordinary National Diploma in Biology/Zoology (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Computer Science

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Mathematics and Physics including ordinary National Diploma in Computer Science(passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

Industrial Physics

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Mathematics and Physics including ordinary National Diploma in Physics (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

Biotechnology

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any other science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Biology and Chemistry including ordinary National Diploma in Biology (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Biology, Physics and Chemistry

Industrial Mathematics

• UTME:  Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other science subjects.
• DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Mathematics and Physics including ordinary National Diploma in Mathematics(passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
• REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

MCIU Post UTME Eligibility.

1. Candidates who wrote the 2020 JAMB UTME conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE).
2. Candidates who made the Michael and Cecilia Ibru University their FIRST CHOICE Institution are eligible for the screening.
3. All other interested candidates who did not choose Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU) as their First and Second Choices are equally eligible to come for the MCIU POST-UTME Screening at MCIU.
4. Each candidate must possess at least five (5) O’Level Credit Passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in their proposed relevant subject courses.
