YABATECH Rector Cleared of Corruption Charges By The Council
According to news reaching us today,The Governing Council of Yaba College of
Technology (YABATECH) has cleared the
rector of the institution, Dr. Kudirat Ladipo,
of allegations of corruption and
misappropriation levelled against her.
It will be recalled that a group known as the
Save Nigerian Wealth (SNW) petitioned
President Muhammadu Buhari to investigate the N5 million monthly security
vote approved by the Yabatech’s governing
council for the office of the rector.
The secretary of the governing council,
Biekoroma Amakapabo, said that the
council was satisfied with the findings of
the 5-man committee which cleared the
rector of any wrong doings.
They clarified that the N5 million is the
security vote, considering that the
institution was confronted with security
challenges.
