Federal University Otuoke To Collaborate With Radio Nigeria

The Vice Chancellor of Federal University,
Otuoke (FUO), Professor Mobolaji Aluko has
moved for strategic collaboration between
the University and Radio Nigeria, Creek
106.5 FM Yenagoa, on student training in
the area of broadcasting.

Prof. Aluko disclosed this while playing host
to the management and staff of the Radio
Station who paid a courtesy visit to him
Monday 8th June 2015 at Otuoke in Ogbia
Council Area, Bayelsa State.

The VC expressed optimism on the success
of the collaboration which he said will help
train students who have the flair for
broadcasting.

Speaking earlier, the general manager Creek
FM Yenagoa Mr. Barikumo Adou said what
informed their visit is to seek possible areas
of partnership that will be mutually
beneficial to the two federal government
organizations.

Mr. Adou said the Radio Station is ready to
propagate the activities of the new
University beyond Bayelsa State as part of
its contribution to the growth of
government and private sectors.

The visit was rounded off impressively when
the Head Media and Public Relations Unit,
Ms. Mercy Ekott took the visitors on a
facility tour of the University.
