WAEC Issues Attestation of Result to Buhari | Buhari WAEC Result. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) Registrar, Iyi Uwadiae, presented an attestation certificate and confirmation of school cert result to the President on Friday at the State House in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The Registrar presented only the attestation certificate because by law it cannot present a new certificate having allegedly issued the first one which the President said was with the Military Board.

Reacting to the development, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, took to Twitter to fault those who have criticised his principal over his certificate.

The president also posted a video from the moment on Instagram with the caption:

Today I received the attestation and confirmation of my 1961 West African School Certificate (WASC) Examination result, from the Registrar of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). It was also an opportunity for me to thank WAEC for upholding its integrity over the years.

The result shows that Mr. Buhari, undertook the University of Cambridge West African School Certificate Examinations and obtained five credits in English Language, Geography, Hausa Language, History, and Health Science.
